On 22 July, Portuguese Parliament approved in plenary, the draft law No. 308 / XII / 4th that transforms the Chamber of Solicitors in Order of Solicitors and Enforcement Agents, as well as the respective laws.
Regarding the Enforcement Agents, the New Statute provides for quota processes, also through changes in access to the profession (frequency of an eighteen-month internship and completion of degree in solicitor or right, not requiring that candidates are solicitors or lawyers).
