Accountants could replace lawyers in procedures against the IRS

voar28 thousand Portuguese lawyers are losing more and more court privileges.

After being “removed” from the representation of those who have an agreement for divorce at registry or in arbitration and after having less work at the expense of the closure of more than 40 courts a year ago, they now see accountants “steal ” their place in the fiscal courts.     I don’t know any other country that has a similar law and frankly I don’t see how this is beneficial in Portugal because in certain issues accountans are liable in court by their own actions and fiscal representation.
